Patio Heaters Rental
While hosting events outdoors is easy enough during the spring and summer, events held outdoors in the late fall or even in winter do present more of a challenge. The cold can make your guests uncomfortable, especially if the event is held in the evening. One easy solution to this is to look for patio heaters rental opportunities. These patio heaters can provide all of the heat you and your guests need to enjoy the night outdoors without getting too cold. Party Rental Creation has several patio heater options for you and can assist you in keeping your guests warm regardless of the season.
When Do You Need Patio Heaters?
Sometimes, the weather will make it clear that you do need patio heaters if you are having an outdoor event. Anything held in winter, early spring, or late fall that is outdoors will likely get chilly, especially if you’re in a colder part of the world. However, it can be questionable for events in mid-fall or mid-spring. Sometimes, you may have bouts of chilly weather, and it can be hard to know what to expect if you’re planning the event several months out. We encourage you to discuss your particular needs with us when you call to begin planning your rentals. If you believe you may need to look at patio heaters rental options, we can help.
While any events that are fully outdoors may need patio heaters, you may also want to include them if you are planning an event that offers both indoor and outdoor areas. For example, if your venue has a garden attached to it, patio heaters may be appropriate if you believe your guests will want to wander the gardens during the evening. This may also be necessary if you know your venue is going to be fairly crowded. Offering the chance to step outdoors may be a welcome relief for some guests, and heaters will help make that relief more inviting.
Types of Heaters
We offer two main types of heater rentals. The first is the large patio heater. These heaters somewhat resemble old-fashioned streetlights. They are tall enough for some people to stand under them, and the heat is expelled outward in a full 360-degree circle. People can stand around these tall heaters and remain warm while chatting. You can also set these types of heaters up near the ends of rectangular tables to make eating outdoors more comfortable.
For circular tables, however, we recommend the smaller table heaters. This option is essentially a much shorter version of the patio heater. They are designed to sit in the middle of the table and provide warmth to those sitting around it. These smaller heaters can also provide heat for farm tables, though you may need one on each end.
What Events Are Heaters Perfect For?
Typically, you will only need patio heaters if you’re having an event outdoors and it’s chilly, but the event itself can also help you determine if you need heat or not. Any type of sit-down event may require heaters since your guests won’t be moving around. However, if you’re having something like an outdoor cocktail hour where people will be moving around and mingling, they may not get too cold. Movement helps keep people warm, so that alone may be enough for your guests. However, instead of having patio heaters spread across the venue so everyone can stay warm, you could set up three or four and create warm zones where your guests could retreat to if they feel chilly.
The overall aesthetics of some events may also require you to consider where to carefully place patio heaters. For example, you don’t want these devices set up between rows of chairs at a wedding because they would appear in photos and could even block your professional photographer from taking photos during the ceremony. In this type of situation, you may be limited to lining your heaters up along the edge of the space. You may even want to forego heating this part of the venue altogether and save the patio heaters for the reception, especially if the ceremony is earlier in the evening.
You may want to carefully place your heaters around the area to keep the heat where it’s needed. For example, if you’re serving any type of hot food on your buffet, you will want at least one patio heater near the food tables. You may not necessarily want to warm areas that are towards the edge of the venue, especially if the venue’s lighting doesn’t reach these corners. Think about where people are likely to gather during your event and use that to guide your heater placement.
